Blue Chip Delivery Charges


Our Delivery charge includes delivery, packing costs and any other administration
costs and are based on delivery addresses within the UK:

Delivery address security:   Delivery address criteria;  high valued orders can only be delivered to the registered card account address unless specifically approved in advance by Blue Chip. For more details, contact us on info@windsurfer.co.uk

  1. Delivery Problems: At the checkout page, we ask for a contact phone number in case of delivery problems. This is so that if our appointed delivery company has any issues at the point of delivery, they will telephone us for further instructions and or clarification. We will then telephone you to get more detail on the delivery address and pass these on to the delivery operative. If you do not supply a contact phone number, the carrier will return the consignment to us and our delivery obligation would have been fulfilled. If you ask us to send out the consignment once more, you will be charged for a second delivery.
  2. Delivery Schedule: Orders received before 12:00 will wherever possible be dispatched the same day. Orders received after 12:00 will wherever possible be sent out the following day.
    Note: Consignments that are returned to us "unable to deliver" will incur a service charge of £10 to cover the return costs of the courier.
  3. Free delivery offers:
    From time to time we may make a free delivery offer (including order values of £750 or more). This offer consists of us waving our standard delivery charge (UK mainland only) up to a maximum of £12.95. Our free delivery offers do not include * delivery exception and or our premium delivery surcharges relating to premium services or post code surcharges. In these cases, you will only be charged the appropriate surcharge.
  4. Special offers:
    From time to time we may make special offers on the prices of certain products. In these cases, the delivery charges are calculated on the original price of the goods, not the special offer prices.

    Delivery/Collection Exceptions:

For billing purposes, delivery/collection charges to Ireland, Northern Ireland, I.O.W., Channel Isles, Isle of Mann, Highlands and Islands and parts of central Scotland including but not limited to the post codes all of AB, DD, HS, IV, KA, KW, KY, PA, PH, BT, GY, IM, JE, and ZE codes,  are priced according to the area, order value and consignment dimensions (volume-metric weight calculation). Therefore, all deliveries to the above areas and post codes will incur a surcharge on top of our standard delivery charge shown in the shopping cart. Should you need further information regarding your particular delivery post code, just send us an email stating your required articles and we will let you know the exact amount of freight costs including any delivery/collection surcharges. info@windsurfer.co.uk
  6. Some items, due to their size and or nature such as long battens and/or paint products cannot be sent via Royal Mail post and may need to be delivered via a courier service and therefore the delivery/collection charge may be higher than the estimated delivery charge listed below.
